United States Program

USA-mapWest River Academy offers you the ultimate in FREEDOM and SIMPLICITY.  You will enjoy complete freedom to homeschool in a way that fits your family–from a traditional curriculum on one end of the spectrum to unschooling on the other, and everything in between!

You can devote your time and effort to your family’s education while we take care of the legal and administrative requirements.

We support all styles of homeschooling, including: unschooling, child-led learning, life learning, relaxed homeschooling, eclectic homeschooling, unit studies and/or a standard curriculum. You may create a program that fits your family’s lifestyle and the learning styles of your children.

We offer Consultations to assist you with this process.

By enrolling in an accredited private school, you will be in compliance with your state’s compulsory attendance laws. In most cases, you will not have to file a notice of intent to homeschool or have to submit to standardized testing/evaluation.

After you enroll and pay the fees, you will receive a document that confirms your enrollment in West River Academy. You will also fill out a request for student records, which we will send to your child’s former school to complete the withdrawal process.

You can request an official transcript for any year that your child has been enrolled in West River Academy.

By enrolling in an accredited private school, you will graduate with a high school diploma and transcript. You can apply to colleges and universities as a private school student. We will forward your transcript as part of your application. West River Academy has an excellent track record of having our students’ diplomas and transcripts recognized by colleges, universities, technical schools and employers.

Our non-traditional, unschooler-friendly Graduation Program is a 6-month writing project, which you start during your last year of high school.

West River Academy Enrollment Fees
